Before you begin

DAMS Community Edition v1.0.0 is a Windows application focused on personal photo and video libraries.

Maintain an appropriate backup before making independent changes to valuable media. DAMS Community Edition follows an analysis-first workflow and does not reorganise source files as part of its core scan.

Install safely

Download DAMS_Community_Edition_1.0.0_Setup.exe from the official GitHub Release and verify its SHA-256 checksum before running it.

Complete the Windows installation, launch DAMS Community Edition, and select a local folder, OneDrive folder or external drive for analysis.

First workflow

Use the guided sequence: Discover → Analyse → Understand → Review.

After the scan, review the Home, Library Explorer, Review Centre and Report Centre before making any organisation decisions outside the application.
